Lowell officials have teamed with the University of Massachusetts Lowell and The Lowell Plan, a nonprofit economic development agency, to launch a new print and digital marketing campaign to promote the city as a great place to live, work, study, and play. The goal is to draw visitors, students, and businesses to Lowell with the hashtag: “#Lowell: There’s a Lot to Like.” Lowell’s cultural, recreational, and other attractions will be highlighted with campaign ads that feature the line: “This is how we . . . ” For example, the Lowell Folk Festival will be promoted with an ad that says: “This is how we jam.” The campaign is slated to launch in September and continue over the next year.
